The situation of Vietnam business establishments during Covid 19

After the celebration of Vietnam Liberation Day 30/4 and International Labour Day 1/5, the situation of Covid 19 in Vietnam has been recorded as escalated. In general, as a precaution, Hanoi and Ho Chi Minh City have shut all bars, nightclubs, and karaoke parlours from April 30. Ho Chi Minh City authorities shut down movie theatres, massage parlours, and online game centres from May 3 while Hanoi also shut down sidewalk cafes and eateries in a bid to prevent and combat the pandemic. Schools have also been suspended in Hanoi. Similar measures have also been implemented in Da Nang and Quang Nam.

Currently, 2 large industrial zones in the North of Vietnam has been suffering from the Covid 19, which are Bac Giang and Bac Ninh. Minister of Health Nguyen Thanh Long said that the epidemic situation in Bac Giang had many differences, the epidemic occurred in industrial zones, especially at factories, the number of infections increased rapidly in a very short time. Therefore, Bac Giang must be put in the highest level of alarm to control the epidemic situation well. When in Bac Ninh, The epidemic is "temporarily under control", it is necessary to ensure safety but not to delay production

Vietnam manufacturer is combatting the Pandemic in both defensive and offensive way.

Even when, Vietnam first recorded the Indian variant in community-based COVID-19 cases, Vietnamese manufacturers and Factory owner are confident in the combatting strategy of the Government. We are following the standard protocol and prolong the quarantine period from 14 to 21 days. In addition, some manufacturing companies in industrial zones and worker dormitories have community transmission cases. This surely has an impact on the production situation and delivery schedule at Vietnam factories. However, as with many outbreaks, with the prompt and drastic responses of the government, we are confident that everything will return to normal in the next 2-3 weeks.
